Security

Protecting your information is a top priority at Quikcent. We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your account, your data, and your transactions.

1. Our approach to security

Quikcent maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information you share with us. Security is built into how we design our systems and how we operate day to day, from access controls and monitoring to staff practices.

2. Encryption

We use encryption to help protect your information. Data is encrypted in transit between your device and our systems, and sensitive data is encrypted at rest. Encryption helps keep your information private as it moves across networks and while it is stored.

3. Account protection

We use authentication controls to help keep your account secure and to limit access to your information.

Passwords are never stored in plain text. They are protected using one-way cryptographic hashing, which means we cannot read your original password and it cannot be recovered from what we store.

4. Fraud monitoring

We monitor for fraud and suspicious activity to help protect you and the wider Quikcent community. This can include reviewing account activity, authentication events, device characteristics, and transaction patterns to identify and respond to risks.

5. Identity verification

When you register, we verify your identity. Identity verification helps protect you and the Quikcent community from fraud and financial crime, and it helps us and our partners meet applicable financial regulations, banking partner requirements, and payment network rules. Depending on the services you use, additional verification may be required.

6. Payment security

Payments on Quikcent are processed by Stripe, a payment processor that maintains PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance. Working with a specialized payment processor lets sensitive payment data be handled within a dedicated, compliance-focused environment.

Quikcent is designed to minimize the storage of sensitive payment information, and we do not store full card numbers on Quikcent systems.

7. Reporting a security concern

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, or you notice suspicious activity on your account, please tell us right away. Email support@quikcent.com with the details and we will look into it. We appreciate reports that help us keep Quikcent safe.

8. No system is completely secure

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and no security system can guarantee absolute protection. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot promise that our safeguards will never be circumvented. You also play an important role: keep your password private, use a strong and unique password, and contact us if you think your account has been compromised.
